Mysteron requires an 8-bit display. It draws a series of centred circles, then makes them appear to flow in or out of the centre of the screen. Quite cool, but not the sort of thing you want to find yourself staring at during a late night coding session... ;-) During the day light hours it's reasonably safe... but if you fall into a coma because of it, don't expect to be able to sue me or anything... :-) If you enable the ‘Adjust screen depth upon fade’ checkbox in DarkSide, Mysteron will switch the display to 8 bits if it can.
If you don't like the colour Balloon Icon in the fader, feel free to cut it out with ResEdit. If you do like it, paste it into your copy of DarkSide and it will appear in all your modules. But *don't* redistribute modified copies of DarkSide, or of this module.
That aside, feel free to distribute this module in any way you see fit - but remember it's freeware, not public domain. Send me some email if you like it. Thanks to Jim Calvin, this version now works correctly on multiple-monitor setups.
